Short, because most of it is handled by Apple.
The app
The app is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these terms and that agreement differ, the agreement wins.
Subscriptions
Units 1–3 are free with every feature. The rest of the course is unlocked by an auto-renewing subscription bought through the App Store. The price and period are shown before you confirm; a free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. You manage, cancel and refund the subscription in your Apple ID settings (refunds are decided by Apple); the support page has the steps. Payment goes to Apple; we never receive your payment details.
Content
We take care over every word and every sentence, and every sentence is checked. But Icelandic is intricate and we do not claim the course is free of errors. If you spot one, the flag button on the exercise sends it straight to us. Audio in the app is computer-generated speech. The licences and attributions for the language data the app uses are listed in the app and on the legal notice. You may use the app for your own learning; you may not extract its content to build a competing product.
This website
The website is provided as is, for information about the app. Prices and launch dates on it are expectations until the app is on the App Store; the App Store listing is authoritative. Joining the beta list is free and creates no obligation on either side. Beta builds reach you through Apple’s TestFlight, as pre-release software under Apple’s TestFlight terms.
Law
